GENERAL PRICE LIST OF SERVICES OFFERED

Prior to drafting any contract for goods and services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our clientele.  You may choose only those items you desire.  However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery services, flowers, and newspaper notices.  The prices for these items will be shown on your bill or statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.  We charge you for our services in buying some of these items.

There is no evidence that any casket represented as having protective features, which may include a gasket, will preserve human remains.

Warranties

Our funeral home makes no representation or warranties about the protective value of certain caskets or outer burial containers other than those made by the manufacturer.  The only warranties, expressed or implied, granted in connection with goods sold with this funeral service are the written warranties, if any, extended by the manufacturers thereof.  No other warranties and specifically, no warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are extended by the seller

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff Overhead                               
This fee includes: Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to initial call; Conducting the arrangement conference; Planning the funeral; Consulting with family and clergy; Initial shelter of remains; Preparing and filing necessary notices; Obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; Coordinating with the Cemetery; Crematory, or other third parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased; Clerical assistance in the completion of various forms and permits associated with a funeral; This fee also covers overhead, including facility maintenance, equipment and inventory costs, insurance and administration expenses and governmental compliance.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of funeral arrangement you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains). Additional funeral services and merchandise that is needed or requested have an additional charge and are listed below.

Embalming                                                                                                                
Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary however, if you select certain funeral arrangements such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other Preparation of the Body:

Refrigeration
If embalming is declined and the final disposition of the deceased is not completed within 24 hours from death, California law requires refrigeration. For Health & Safety of our personnel & the General Public & for common decency, the policy of this funeral establishment requires refrigeration of all unembalmed bodies.

USE OF FACILITIES & STAFF FOR SERVICES

Use of Facilities and Staff Services for Visitation Per day                                                
Our services include set-up of visitation area, placement of encased remains, and display of floral arrangements, supervision of and attendance during the visitation.

Use of Facilities and Staff Services for Funeral Service in Our Chapel                   
Our services include coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, and staff to assist with the funeral ceremony.

Staff Services for Funeral Service at Religious Facility                                           
Our services include coordinating the funeral arrangements, supervision of funeral, and staff to assist with the funeral ceremony.

Use of Facilities and Staff Services for Memorial Service                                      
Services without remains present in our chapel.  Our services include coordinating the memorial service arrangements, supervision of the memorial service, and staff to assist with the service.

Staff Services for Memorial Service (without remains present) at Other Facility
Our services include coordinating the memorial service arrangements, supervision of the memorial service, and staff to assist with the service.

Equipment and Staff Services for Graveside Service                                              
Our services include accompaniment of remains to cemetery, supervision of graveside service, and staff to assist with the service.

Additional charge for Use of Facilities and Staff for Services on Weekends          

Forwarding Remains to Another Funeral Home:                                     
This charge includes use of preparation room, Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff, embalming, bathing and handling of unembalmed remains, Transfer of the Remains to the Funeral Establishment, transportation to or from local airport or other place of shipment within a 50-mile radius, service vehicle and obtaining necessary authorizations. This charge does not include visitation or ceremonies. This charge applies to shipment within the continental U.S. only.

Receiving Remains From Another Funeral Home:                                      
This charge includes Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory, transportation to or from local airport or other place of shipment within a 50-mile radius, service vehicle and obtaining necessary authorizations. This charge does not include preparation if necessary, visitation or ceremonies

Direct Cremation:                                                                         
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative
containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition
materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are alternative
containers and other cremation containers, including containers made of wood, containers made of fiberboard, and containers made of other composite materials.  Crematories have minimum requirements as to the type of rigidity of cremation containers.

Our charges for direct cremation (without ceremony) include transfer of the remains to the
funeral establishment, crematory fee, refrigeration, service vehicle, basic services of the funeral director and staff, transfer to or from crematory.

IMMEDIATE BURIAL:                                                             
Our charges for immediate burial (without any rites or ceremonies at the funeral home, graveside or elsewhere) include Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff, refrigeration, Transfer of the Remains to the Funeral Establishment, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory, service vehicle

A. Immediate burial with container provided by the purchaser. All such containers must meet
any applicable state or cemetery requirements.                                                  

B. Immediate burial with minimum casket from our facility

RENTAL CASKET:
(Refer to Casket Price List as provided at the funeral establishment.) If you choose
a funeral service where a rental casket is provided, the casket used for the funeral
service may have been used in a previous funeral service. If the casket has been
used in a previous funeral service, the interior lining has been replaced.

REDUCTION

AKA: Terramation (Natural Organic Reduction)

:utilizes the body's own naturally occurring microbes to gently transform remains into nutrient-rich soil. The process is conducted in individual vessels and takes 60-90 days to complete. The resulting soil can then be returned home to be placed in cemeteries, gardens, houseplants, memorial trees, or donated to a Woodland property in Kent, WA to aid in the restoration and rejuvenation of a Washington forest.

  • Reduction/Terramation is an earth-friendly natural alternative to environmentally damaging burial and cremation methods. Reduction/Terramation reduces environmental contamination, nourishes the soil, preserves and restores land, and reduces relative carbon emissions.

    Aquamation/Alkaline Hydrolysis

    Our charge for Aquamantion/Alkaline Hydrolysis includes the Basic Services for funeral director & staff, Transfer of the Remains to the Funeral Home, refrigeration and custodial care, documentation, service vehicle and transfer to Aquamantion facility, the Aquamation process, and a minimum plastic durable economy urn.
